This Colnago Sprint was made in the late 1980's and is all original! It comes equipped with an Ofmega Premiere groupset. Almost every component has Ernesto Colnago's signature stamped on it somewhere. The headset and stem both have Colnago engravings. It has been completely refurbished. The headset, bottom bracket, and both hubs were serviced. New tires have been glued on. The bar tape was removed, cleaned, and then reinstalled. New cables have been installed. All parts were given a bath in the ultrasonic cleaned and then carefully reinstalled. This bike is easy on the eyes and is simply beautiful.
Although it's in great condition, it still shows sign of use. The brakes are squeaky (still has the original Modolo brake pads which might be dried up). It has a few paint chips but no dents or cracks. It's running the original chain but it isn't stretched. The brake hoods are dry and starting to crack. The seat has a small scuff on it. The non-drive side seat stay (towards the bottom) is bent in about half a millimeter. It's incredibly hard to notice and doesn't affect the ride or safety. Please see the photo of the square on the seat stay to see just how little it's bent in. Apart from these little things, the bike is ready to rock!
