Specialized Expedition

Mounts for DAYZ! This 1983 Expedition is ready for anything you want to throw at it. This is a purpose built touring bike and you can tell as soon as you hop on it. Not only does it have mounts for a front and rear rack and multiple bottle cages, but it also has wiring built into the downtube for a dynohub! Keep in mind, Specialized was doing this in 1983 and it's hard even now to find a bike that offers the same specs. 

This bike was given a refurbish but here are still some quirks about it. All of the cables have been replaced and new bar tape/brake hoods have been installed. New cable housing was also installed. 

The decals are in great condition but there are some paint chips and evidence of someone trying to paint over some of the chips. The color match for these touch ups is close but noticeable in the right light and if you're really looking. There is also a really small dent in the top tube but it won't compromise this bike in any way. The cable bridge for the brakes was also replaced with flatbar style brake cable that was cut down. The tires also show some sign of use/age but are still ridable and have good tread. Please check out all of the photos to get a better understanding as to the condition of this bike.
