Gitane Tour de France

This is a beautiful example of Gitane craftsmanship. This frame has been deep cleaned and polished - the original paint came back beautifully. The metallic red sparkles in the sun! This frame is made from Vitus 983 tubes to ensure a lightweight yet durable ride. There are no dents or other major damage to the frame. The paint has seen better days, but considering it's age it's really not bad! The dropouts are also straight. There is some rust starting to form at the base of the head tube. Before this frame was polished, Problem Solvers "Frame Saver," was sprayed in the tubes, so this frame is now ready for anything!
