I was fortunate enough to purchase this bike from the original owner! He bought it in 1972 from Turin Cycles in Denver, CO. He was friends with the owner of the shop and upon purchase, he was told that it was built by the Bob Jackson. We have no way to prove that it was actually Bob behind the torch with this frame, but it's a great story nonetheless. It's in great condition for its age. No dents, bends, or cracks. It has some paint chips here and there, but nothing crazy, especially when you consider its age. It has new cables/housing, the bottom bracket and headset were serviced, new bar tape, new brake hoods, new chain, and all parts were removed, cleaned an ultrasonic, and then carefully reinstalled. The front and rear derailleurs were given complete overhauls; polish and paint! This bike is beautiful!!
