Schwinn Premis

The Premis came out in the late 1980's and was Schwinn's entry level performance road bike. The frame is constructed from Columbus Tenax tubing, which Schwinn only did for a very short period of time given the cost of the steel. These were also equipped with a very cool a rare white Suntour groupset that does an incredible job at tying it all together. These bike still wears all of its original parts and is a total time capsule. It even has the original Ergo saddle that was advertised in the Schwinn catalog. 

This bike has been fully refurbished. New brake and shift cables have been installed as well as new bar tape. All of the components were removed and cleaned. The frame was also given a deep clean and polish. The bottom bracket and headset were cleaned and regreased - this bike is ready for many hard miles. 

Although this ride is in great condition, it still shows some sign of use. There are some chips and scratches in the paint here and there (please see photos highlighting these areas). There are no dents, bends or cracks anywhere on the frame!
