Schwinn Super Le Tour

The Le Tour is an iconic Schwinn model that made its debut in 1974. They were all purpose bikes that people loved for their sturdiness and reliability. There were a couple different renditions of the Le Tour, one being the Super. The Super Le Tour was made in a couple different specs, and in 1985 was made with Columbus Tenax tubing. Schwinn only used these lightweight tubes for one year, making this example relatively rare. The Super Le Tour in 1985 came in a cherry red, and the metallic grey as seen on this example.

This bike has been fully refurbished – The headset and bottom bracket have been repacked with fresh grease. New brake and shift cables have been installed and the rest of the parts were ultrasonic cleaned. The original seat was reupholstered with a black vinyl and a new seat post has been swapped for the previous marred one. The wheels were polished and then trued. The new Panaracer tires are a perfect pairing for this bike! They will take you anywhere and make for a very connected ride. There are some scratches on the top tube and fork, but everywhere else is in great condition. There are no dents, cracks, or rust on the frame. It shifts great and is ready for many fun miles!
