There are two things that you'll notice about this Serotta right away. The DKS dampening system in the rear triangle and the massive head tube. I assume this frame was custom made for someone who wanted to ride in a more upright, comfortable position. The rear stays were designed by legendary builder, David Kirk. They provide some dampening to the ride without compromising stiffness. It look bonkers! This frame is in good condition but shows sign of use. No dents, bends, or cracks. The bottom bracket threads are in excellent condition. There are some marks on the frame, most notably on the decals. The steer tube also has a decent amount of corrosion. Might be worth investing in a new fork or getting a new steer tube on this one. Could also be worth cutting the head tube down if you have the know-how. It comes with the seat collar, but there is no bolt.
